Delice de France is probably the best grab & go option in Manchester Piccadilly Train Station. They do a load of good deals, particularly the savory croissants and drink for two and a half English pounds.

They're equally good on sweet stuff and savory stuff, and basically flog everything from pasty things ad quiches to muffins and cakes.

Though they are a big company, they began 25 years ago with one little shop in West London, isn't that lovely!

Have a look at the website for the extensive range, but bear in mind that it completely depends which one you go to and what they've got at any give tie. Nonetheless, these are snacks of a higher quality than one could reasonably expect at a train station, and not too pricey.

This is a review for the Delice de France in Manchester airport.
£39 for sandwiches, coffee and snacks for 5 people is not bad for an airport. Sandwiches were pretty average although one member of our party remarked that his was so bad that his body was rejecting it and was fast tracking it towards his colon for immediate evacuation. Mine was fine (tuna and cheese if you must know.)
Cheese and mushroom croissant seemed to be the highlight of our order despite looking like a paper bag full of monster semen (see attached pic). Seeing the remains of it sitting on the table brought back some horrific memories of a scout camp I went on in the Isle of Wight aged 10. I grew up very fast that week and witnessed how spectacularly depraved young boys can be in ways that you cannot even begin to imagine. I honestly think it's a possibility that one particular boy called Peter may have somehow channelled Pol Pot into his walking hard-on of a 14 year old boys body. Just horrendous.
They could not make the iced coffees as they had no ice.
    Staff were perfectly friendly.
There was a nice old man behind us in the queue wearing a rather fetching sleeveless fishing jacket so they are obviously attracting the right kind of punter.
    He was soooo nice.
